Admissions Requirements

An applicant must be a high school graduate or the recognized equivalent.

For applicants who wish to participate in distance education programs they will be required to have a phone interview with an Admission Representative. Admission to the Institute is based on an entrance examination evaluation.

Applicants are accepted and are placed in their programs based on a first come, first served basis.

Applicants under the age of 18 may be admitted provided they will be 18 years old by the scheduled start date of their externship/clinical. A parent, legal guardian or spouse of legal age is required to co-sign the enrollment agreement.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for admission as soon as they decide on a career. An applicant may call for an interview appointment or visit the school. Applicants outside the area may call or email requesting a phone interview. The appointment time and date will be confirmed by email or telephone.


The following items must be completed at the time of application for enrollment:
 

  • The personal data form
  • Personal or phone interview with admission representative
  • Entrance Testing- Student must pass the Scholastic Level Exam-Quicktest (SLE-Q) which is administered online through the Wonderlic Educational Solution. This is required for all diploma programs
  • A request for proof of high school graduation or its equivalent (GED)
  • The enrollment agreement
  • Payment of the registration fee or arrangements for payment before orientation
